Senior QA Engineer

• Own product quality and testing strategy.
• Design and execute functional and performance tests for web and native mobile apps (Android, iOS).
• Design and maintain test automation frameworks.
• Design and execute API testing.
• Create and maintain test automation scripts with market-leading test automation tools.
• Work with client and project manager to define and refine business requirements. Translate requirements into test cases.
• Tight collaboration with Product, Engineering, UX/UI, and Analytics teams.
• Troubleshoot, investigate root causes, and provide comprehensive test reports, and analysis of the test results.
• Monitor and improve the testing process to achieve a superior quality of the solutions (test-driven development, design and code reviews, etc.)
• Provide sign-off documentation for each release.
• Keep up with new testing tools and trends.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to talk to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Passionate about quality and striving for its improvement in every detail.
• Demonstrable experience designing test cases, test plans, test strategy, and reporting issues. Handling tools like TestLodge and Jira.
• 3+ years in test automation using Appium, Maestro, Playwright, Cypress, etc.
• Good command of Java language, JavaScript (or another programming language)
• Demonstrable experience working with relational and NoSQL database technologies.
• Demonstrable experience testing responsive and/or adaptive web applications.
• Demonstrable experience testing native mobile apps: phone, tablet or other devices.
• Demonstrable knowledge of API testing. Experience with Postman or similar tools. K6 is a plus.
• Experience designing test strategy and observability for large-scale production systems.
• Demonstrable experience working with Scrum or a similar Agile management process.
• Practitioner of observability, monitoring, and analytics tools to influence data-driven decisions.
• Knowledge and understanding of data transformation processes, ETL, or ELT is a huge plus.
• Hands-on AI practitioner.
